"I went on Machete expecting a decent..."
I went on Machete expecting a decent range of stuff, but there really wasn’t as much variety as I thought there’d be. The website kind of made it seem like there would be more options, so I was a little confused when I clicked around and some categories only had a few products. A lot of the items also looked similar, so there wasn’t much to compare. It’s not a terrible site or anything, I just wish they had more styles and a wider mix of products to pick from

"Showed up fine, just slower than I figured"
I ordered from shopmachete.com and, based on how most online orders usually go, I kind of assumed the tracking would move along a bit more consistently. The item did arrive in good shape, so I can’t really complain too much there. Shipping just took longer than I expected, and for a few days the tracking barely updated, which made me wonder if it was stuck somewhere. Packaging was decent and nothing was damaged. Overall, not a bad experience, but I do wish delivery had been quicker or at least a little more clear.

"Nice packaging, even though I felt a bit rushed"
I ordered this kind of last minute and felt a little pressured about whether it would show up looking decent, but the packaging was really nice. The box was clean, nothing was smashed, and everything was wrapped neatly, which made it feel like someone actually cared about the order.
It wasn’t fancy in an overdone way, just simple and put together well. Opening it felt a little more special than I expected, especially since I was already stressing about it. No complaints from me, I’d definitely order again.

"Great gift and my friend loved it"
I ordered a piece from Shop Machete as a birthday gift, and it ended up being a really solid choice. The style has something a little unique about it, but it still feels wearable, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It arrived in decent time, not lightning fast, but totally fine. The packaging was nice too, so I didn’t feel like I had to rewrap it. Only reason I’d take off a star is that I wish there were a few more gift note options. Overall though, I was happy with it and would definitely consider ordering again

"Cute stuff, just a little pricey"
I liked what I got from Machete and it definitely looks cute, but for the price I was expecting a bit more, the quality is fine and I don’t have any real complaints, it’s just not amazing or anything, and if it were a little cheaper I’d probably end up ordering way more often.

"Cute top, if you ignore the color"
I ordered this thinking it was going to be that soft beige shade shown online, but in person it’s definitely more yellow/tan. The fit was fine, so at least it has that going for it, but the color was far from what I expected. Kind of frustrating since I specifically bought it to match another piece.

"Got Resolved, But It Felt More Annoying Than It Should’ve"
Customer service did get back to me, but it took longer than I expected. The return was sorted out in the end, so I can’t say it was a total mess, but my gut feeling is that the whole process was more hassle than it needed to be.

The fit was perfect and I didn’t have to guess on the sizing, which was a relief. I just wish I didn’t feel kind of ignored during the whole process because I had a question and never really got a response.

I’ll admit I’m picky about sustainability stuff, but I was disappointed by how little info they provide. I couldn’t find clear details about the materials, packaging, or what their factory practices are like. At these prices, I personally expect a lot more transparency. It kind of feels like they’re leaning into the eco-friendly image without really backing it up with specifics

"Looks nice, but the upkeep is a hassle"
I’ll give shopmachete.com credit, the item looks really good and I liked it right away. But the maintenance is where they kind of lost me. I didn’t expect to have to be this careful with it, and the care instructions didn’t exactly make things easier.

After using it a few times, I was already second-guessing whether I was cleaning it properly, which is annoying. Maybe it’s great if you’re someone who doesn’t mind extra upkeep, but I feel like they could’ve made the care part clearer and less of a job

"I’d been checking a few other sites..."
I’d been checking a few other sites for some items I wanted, but they were sold out everywhere. shopmachete.com actually had them available, which was a nice surprise. The checkout process was simple, and I didn’t have to sit around hoping for a restock notification. it felt reliable compared to some other shops I’ve used. I’d order from them again

I ordered a machete from shopmachete and so far I’m happy with it. It feels sturdy in the hand, the blade arrived sharp enough to use right away, and the handle doesn’t have that cheap plastic feel. I’ve used it a few times around the yard and it’s held up well. I can’t speak to long-term durability yet, but for the quality so far, I’m satisfied

"Comfortable on my sensitive skin"
I have sensitive skin and some materials bug me almost right away, especially if I’m wearing them for a full day. This one was totally fine, though. I wore it while running errands and even forgot about it while standing in line for coffee, which is always a good sign. No itching, no weird rubbing, nothing annoying. kind of rare for me, so I’m happy with it...

I had a promo code I was excited to use, but when I checked out it only took off a really small amount. My sister even looked at it with me because I thought I entered something wrong. The order itself was fine, but the whole discount thing felt a bit misleading

Checkout was actually quick, which is more than I can say for a lot of sites. Paid without any random issues popping up, so I guess they didn’t mess that part up.
